120 Grit will not remove finishes, but prepares the wood for the final stages of finishing.
When preparing for final sanding use a Bissell Commercial 17" 120 Grit Sand Screen.
It is very important that when refinishing wood, sand screens are not skipped. If that does happen it will create more work for the next screen to sand out the scratches the last screen left behind.
The Bissell Commercial 17" 120 Grit Sand Screens are not meant to remove any leftover finishes on flooring. If there are any residues on the floor, it will become trapped in the screen and leave it unusable. Higher grit is best used for fine sanding in preparation for final sanding.
